Carmelo… The A-Rod of the Garden
You like the trade, you hate the trade, you like the trade, you hate the trade…. YOU LOVE THE TRADE! Carmelo is on fire right now. Knicks fans are lovin’ him, and it looks as though things could be starting to fall into place for this team. I can’t help but to compare the current state of this team to how the Yankees were when they acquired Alex Rodriguez. The days where he went 0-5 … Read entire article »

Raise Your Glasses!
I’m not sure if I’m more excited about the Knicks first time clinching the playoffs before season’s end since 2004 or that we finally beat the Cavs this season (1 out of 4)… anyways, it’s time to celebrate! So there’s nothing really “sexy” about being a 7 seed in the Eastern Conference, but it’s surely better than being the NETS who were in the same position with cap space at the end of last season … Read entire article »

Even more so this year, how many times have we lost games in the 4th quarter because of nonexistent defense … Read entire article »

Post Defense…Where art thou?
Growing up, we used to call it “big man camp”. It’s where we sent all of the young guys who matured early and were over 6 foot by age 13. You were taught the basics of post defense and post offense, basically everything the Knicks DON’T do. The Knicks are a good shot blocking team, but that’s because they take chances on the defensive end and get pushed so deep on the blocks that they … Read entire article »

Jared Jeffries vs. Kris Humphries
VS. Although the Knicks gave up some key scorers in Gallo and Chandler, they managed to keep their stud of a role player Landry Fields. As we’ve seen in Miami this season, role players will determine the success of the season just as much as the stars’ performances each night. With that said, I’d like to open up the blog with a post about the value of Jared Jeffries and Kris Humphries. The question is, who’s … Read entire article »
